Xiaomi defends XringO1 as self-developed

Xiaomi has rejected claims that its XringO1 is a custom chip from Arm, stating it was self-developed using standard Arm IP. The company said its Xring team independently designed the chip’s multi-core system and backend. Arm later revised its website, confirming Xiaomi’s lead in development after earlier language drew public scrutiny.
