In today’s fast-paced tech world, where artificial intelligence is reshaping industries and redefining possibilities, Alibaba Cloud is organizing the Alibaba Cloud Singapore AI Hackathon, a two-day event aimed at fostering the development of innovative AI solutions using Alibaba Cloud’s services.
Taking place on March 7 and 8, 2024, in-person at Lazada One, Singapore, this hackathon is open to developers, startups, and enterprises, and participants can compete individually or with a team of up to five members. Leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s services such as Platform for AI (PAI) and AnalyticDB, participants can bring their ideas to life, push the boundaries of AI, and create solutions with real market or societal impact.

March 7, 2024:
- 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m: Opening ceremony and training session by Alibaba Cloud experts
- 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m: Team formation
- 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m: On-site coding
March 8, 2024:
- 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m: On-site coding and finalization of projects
- 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m: Project presentations to judges
- 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m: Awards ceremony
Teams participating in the hackathon have the opportunity to compete for prizes totaling over SGD 50,000. These prizes include cash awards, Alibaba Cloud credits, special souvenirs, global exposure opportunities, and more.
Projects will be evaluated based on criteria such as technical implementation, commercial or social value, innovation and creativity, as well as the utilization of Alibaba Cloud’s services.
