N2TP secures seed funding from Touchstone Partners
N2TP, a Hanoi-based artificial intelligence research company, has secured seed funding from Touchstone Partners. The amount was not disclosed.
Founded in 2020, N2TP develops AI infrastructure for scientific research, with a focus on areas including biomedicine and biotechnology.
Its core technology is the N2TP AI4Science platform, which supports research from hypothesis generation and simulation to experimental design and iteration. Simulation and experimental results can be fed back into the system to refine models and guide subsequent research.
N2TP will use the funding to selectively expand its patent portfolio and further integrate the platform with automated laboratory processes and equipment. To date, it has filed seven patent applications in Vietnam and internationally.
VentureTech invests MYR 28 million in three Malaysian technology companies
VentureTech, a Malaysian government-backed impact investor, has committed a combined MYR 28 million to three Bumiputera-led technology companies. Individual investment amounts were not disclosed.
- Move Robotic develops warehouse and logistics automation systems integrating autonomous mobile robots, automated storage and retrieval systems, pallet shuttle systems, and proprietary warehouse and robot fleet management software. It also offers its technology through a robotics-as-a-service model.
- Recove operates a medical technology commercialization platform that works with universities, researchers, and medical specialists to bring healthcare innovations to market. VentureTech’s investment will support commercialization of its product pipeline, which includes Neorubin, a noninvasive newborn jaundice screening device.
- Edote develops assistive technology for visually impaired users. Its eBrelle product is a standalone Braille laptop integrating proprietary hardware, software, and accessibility applications. VentureTech’s backing will support manufacturing expansion, product development, and regional growth.
Graas raises USD 17 million in Series B round, acquires Trustana
Graas, a Singapore-headquartered retail AI company, has raised USD 17 million in a Series B round led by LemmaTree, an investment firm founded by Temasek. Integra Partners, Tin Men Capital, The Xander Group, Incred Wealth, and Orzon also participated.
Founded in 2022, Graas develops AI software that consolidates product, customer, inventory, order, and other commerce data into what it calls a “commerce knowledge graph.” It uses this data layer to deploy AI agents that can recommend products, capture orders, recover lost sales, and manage inventory-related tasks.
Alongside the financing, Graas acquired Trustana, a Singapore-based AI-native product data platform. Financial terms were not disclosed. Trustana automates the enrichment and organization of product data for retailers and distributors.
Graas said integrating Trustana will strengthen the product data capabilities of its commerce knowledge graph while expanding its customer base and geographic reach across markets including Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Gulf region. The company operates offices in nine countries.
K2 Therapeutics launches with USD 50 million in seed financing
K2 Therapeutics, a biotechnology company operating from Boston and Singapore, has disclosed USD 50 million in seed financing from MPM BioImpact, which founded the company in 2024.
The funding will support the expansion of K2’s portfolio and development of therapeutic assets sourced globally.
K2 identifies drug candidates across geographies and therapeutic modalities and advances them through its development platform. Its portfolio currently comprises eight preclinical and clinical programs, including antibody-drug conjugates and T-cell engagers.
The company plans to continue expanding its portfolio through asset acquisitions, capital deployment, and focused internal development. It announced the financing alongside the appointment of Ying Huang as CEO. Huang previously served as CEO of Legend Biotech, where he helped oversee the global development and commercialization of cell therapies including Carvykti.
Aureka raises USD 100 million for AI-driven drug discovery
Aureka Biotechnologies has raised USD 100 million in a Series B round, bringing its total funding to nearly USD 200 million.
Granite Asia exclusively funded the first tranche, while an undisclosed investor led a subsequent tranche. Highlight Capital participated alongside existing investors MPCi and NRL Capital.
Founded in 2023, Aureka develops biological foundation models and experimental infrastructure for drug discovery. Its proprietary AuraIDE model supports tasks including protein structure modeling, molecular generation, biomolecular interaction modeling, and function prediction. The company has also released an open-source version called OpenDDE.
Aureka will use the proceeds primarily for R&D and large-scale training of its next generation of biological foundation models. It also plans to upgrade Lab-in-the-Loop, its system for feeding data from single-cell functional screening, experimental validation, and drug development back into its models.

- Xinyangwei, an underwater sensing chip startup, has raised an eight-figure RMB sum in an angel round from K2VC and Yinfeng Capital. The company develops acoustic sensing modules combining capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (CMUT) arrays, ASICs, and related hardware and software, initially targeting pool-cleaning robots. - Link-Touch, a developer of force sensors for robots, has raised a nine-figure RMB sum in a Series D round led by GAC Capital, with participation from Deye and Morning Star Capital. Founded in 2019, the company develops six-axis force sensors, joint torque sensors, and other force sensing products for humanoid and industrial robots. - Shifang, an industrial digital printing technology company, has completed Series B and Series B+ rounds, raising nearly RMB 300 million (USD 44.4 million) in total. Investors across the two rounds include 5Y Capital, China Creation Ventures, Cowin Capital, Hengxu Capital, Xiaomi, and Nio Capital, alongside returning shareholders. Founded in 2020, Shifang develops digital inkjet components and systems for functional coatings used in batteries, printed circuit boards, automotive applications, and other industrial settings. —36Kr
- We-Linking, a medical brain-computer interface (BCI) company, has raised over RMB 100 million (USD 14.8 million) in a new round led by Junzhong Capital, whose core industrial limited partner is medical diagnostics company Innovita. Founded in 2019, We-Linking develops implantable BCI systems for neurological diagnosis, treatment, and functional rehabilitation. It will use the funds to advance clinical validation and medical device registrations, strengthen manufacturing capabilities, and expand clinical applications in neurological rehabilitation. —36Kr
- Silicon Extreme, a Hefei-based company, has raised over RMB 100 million in a round co-led by Inno-chip and Gettop Acoustic. Huace Film & TV, Suzhou Capital Group, SND Financial Holdings, Chuang House Capital, and Megawave Capital also participated. Founded in 2020, the company develops photonic quantum computing chips, systems, and quantum security products. It will use the funds to develop a 10,000-bit specialized optical computing cluster and general-purpose quantum computing chipsets. —36Kr
- Laihua, an AI animation and 3D content creation platform, has raised RMB 68 million (USD 10.1 million) in a Series D round from an unnamed China-listed company, valuing it at around RMB 3.7 billion (USD 547.9 million) post-money. - IO-AI Tech, a robotics and embodied intelligence data infrastructure company, has raised a nine-figure RMB sum from Shunwei Capital, Green Pine Capital Partners, SCGC, and an unnamed robotics company. Founded in 2023, it provides teleoperation, real-world human data collection, and data management systems for training and deploying robots. - InfinAstro, a Beijing-based provider of orbital transportation and in-orbit services, has raised nearly RMB 100 million in a Series A round led by Topview Innovation. Yunding Capital and Taiya Investment participated, while existing investors Shenzhen Credit Guarantee Group, Green Pine Capital Partners, and Shouren Gongchuang reinvested. - Westlake Robotics, an embodied intelligence company spun out of Westlake University, has completed a Series A round, bringing the amount raised across four rounds in six months to RMB 500 million (USD 74 million). Investors across the rounds include SAIF Partners, Langcheng Capital, Henan Investment Group’s Huirong Fund, and Haiyuan Capital, although investors in the latest round were not separately identified. The company develops embodied AI models and humanoid robots and will use the capital to advance its unified full-body humanoid model and expand its team. —36Kr
- Goal Technology, an industrial automation and robotics company, has raised nearly RMB 100 million in a Series A+ round from SCGC, Shenzhen Co-Stone Asset Management, and Technology Financial Group. Founded in 2019, the company develops precision motors and industrial robots based on its proprietary multi-degree-of-freedom motor technology. - Xunlu Innovation Technology, a smart mobility company, has raised over RMB 100 million in a new round co-led by returning investor Brizan Ventures and new investor Highlight Capital. HSG, Shunwei Capital, Monad Ventures, Gao Bingqiang, and CWB Capital also participated. Founded in 2023, Xunlu develops intelligent systems and products for low-speed mobility under its Tarran brand. - ModuTech, a Shenzhen-based tactile sensing company, has raised an eight-figure RMB sum in a pre-Series A round from Falcon Capital and Yihua Capital. Founded in late 2024, it develops tactile sensing modules, data collection systems, and models for humanoid robots, dexterous hands, and industrial manufacturing, combining vision-based tactile sensing with piezoresistive technology. McEasy, Acrab, Squirrel Power, and others made recent headlines:
- McEasy, an Indonesia-based fleet management and transportation intelligence company, raised USD 9 million in Series B funding comprising equity and venture debt. The equity round was led by Integra Partners, with growth debt provided by InnoVen Capital.
- Acrab, a technology company building agentic AI compute infrastructure, raised USD 130 million in a Series B round. Existing investors Vertex Ventures SEA & India and Vertex Growth continued to back the company, alongside institutional investors from Europe and Southeast Asia.
- Squirrel Power, an outdoor mobility technology company, raised more than RMB 200 million (USD 29.6 million) in a Series A round. Investors include Oriza Hua, Oriza Rivertown, GSR United Capital, Silicon Paradise, ThunderSoft, Guangyuan Hesheng Fund, Unique Capital, Shenqi Capital, Ondine Capital, and Chunjia Capital.
