AngelList’s Utsav Somani launched a micro-VC fund iSeed to invest in 30 early-stage startups with an average check size of USD 150,000 over the period of two years.

The serial entrepreneur is streamlining banking for India’s SMEs.

The two funds mark the firm’s continuing focus on early-stage companies in a market where investments are increasingly skewing towards late-stage startups to avoid risks. 

The company is targeting users who already subscribe to platforms such as Netflix, Spotify, and other podcast channels.

All stakeholders are onboard for a wild EV ride, but New Delhi seems to have put its feet on the brake.
